As for being asked by the lord to return, I wonder about that. Would it be a direct and specific request from god? Would it just be a feeling? Without specifics, how would he know what to do when he returned? Maybe god only wants him to warn us that the end is near (though to be fair, that topic has been all too common lately). Maybe he is sending GC back to save one specific person (prepare for the coming of the lord, Min! And by that I mean hide the lotion but keep the towels handy). How would he know? Acting strange and mysterious is very inconvenient at a time like that.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
