The evidence of Moses' existence has been handed down from generation to generation. The Jews at the time of Jesus still attributed the writing of the law to Moses. The other evidence is the chain of writings after the Pentateuch that continue to give witness to Moses and reinforce the earlier writings. The same goes for David, Solomon and prophets.

So basically, a bunch of old writings that have a vested interest in perpetuating these stories mention Moses, and therefore he existed?
