Why the hell should suicide being illegal? It makes no sense and it is impossible to punish if the offender succeeds.

I'm not making confusions, there is no such thing as an obligation to live. You don't have an obligation to live. However you have the right to live and people should try to make the most of it and be according to the possibilities,

Do you believe it's okay to dictate someone else's choices based on what you think they should do? You think people who are unhappy should make the best of their life, and I mostly agree with you. So what? Maybe they don't think so. Maybe they don't care what you or I think. Maybe they should be permitted to make their own choices regardless of our opinions, especially if the choice will not potentially harm anyone else.

I have the example of a guy that lost his arms and legs and wrote a book explaining how he manages to be happy. Like I said, I can agree that everybody makes conscious rational decisions regarding their lives, I just don't have to agree with every one of them, I can think that reason is not enough to not want to live, it is my personal ethic.

I am happy for the guy you talked about. Here's the thing though. What you think only matters when it's your life. What I think only matters when it's my life. I don't think severe depression is a good reason to kill myself. So even though I suffer from anxiety, depression, and PTSD I hold on to things that matter to me and I take medicine and I just started seeing a psychiatrist and a therapist and an abuse counselor. I want to be the best mom for my kids as I can. But I have absolutely no right to look at a woman who has been through the same things as I have and tell her, you cannot make your own choices, you must do what I believe is right or what I say you should do.

I can perfectly accept someone in pain and terminal illness wants to end their suffering, but on other cases where there isn't generally and incurable disease I don't support the decision of dying, but again, it doesn't mean I will stop these people.
