But there is a toe in the door for non-belief in that while they are on board with the walking on water, changing water to wine, many (most?) are NOT on board with forbidding remarriage following divorce.
Odd, the trifling fantastical stuff is okey dokey, but Jesus making a strong pronouncement on the definition of marriage is ignored. Even Catholics, ostensibly 'stuck' with Mark 10:11, still perform annulments with abandon, even in marriages WITH CHILDREN.
I just took the political test for my placement on the graph (below Hitler and the Pope) and maybe there needs to be one in a similar vein to show the 'religious' how close to atheism they are edging with their cafeteriaism, selective adherence and willful ignorance of their own Scriptures.
