How Skeptic Are You?

That said, I'm sure there are a number of things I should be more skeptical about but someone else will have to tell me what they are because I can't see them.

Everyone has a belief that is probably, somewhere, absurd and contradictory to the evidence available. Often we just don't see or notice them, or we are never exposed to the alternative view so we don't get the chance to reassess or defend our view.

I'd like to think I'm skeptical, especially over things that concern, for example, health (as you say, alternative medicine and anecdotal evidence). Things like energy crystals and chakras are obviously hokum.

I suppose the conclusion is never take anything prima facie.
