As long as they continue to spout the same old and tired stuff - and expect people to believe the religion over reality - it makes little difference who is talking or where.
What killed religion is reality - and education. Where once the average xtian couldn't read a bible - today - reading the bible is the main reason for NOT believing in the religion. There was a time when the religion could dictate that reality was what is in the bible - even if it really was not. People would not question it. Today - people are taught to question everything - and there are no answers to make religion logical anymore.
