Where I live deer populations have exceeded their natural carrying capacity due to the removal of wolves and jaguars. We still have cougars but they are only now making a comeback.
In previous posts i already said that is a good idea to eat those animals that create a problem as they have become a pest rather than beef, sheeps, pigs, chickens and other farm animals.
I also mention that here in Australia we got a big problem with introduced animals like camels, wild pigs, wild horses and donkeys, rabbits, goats plus non introduced animals like kangaroo.
Beside to try to bring under control these pests it is also better meat as these animals are free from hormones, antibiotics and other crap and they got less fat as they keep on moving all the time.
If you can't stay without meat it is much better to eat wild animals rather than farm one.
