Gary Kasparov no doubt has reasons for believing that the Middle Ages didn't exist.
Other folk have reasons for believing that the Earth is flat, or that 'Monatomic Gold' has mystical healing properties.
They have their own reasons for believing, and these are irrational reasons, just likes yours are.
You beliefs are precisely as rational as those of Icke, Kasparov and the flat earthers. Which is to say: not rational at all. In fact, as I tried to show in the OP, there are important ways in which your religion is considerably crazier than any of the other fruitbat groups that I talked about.
