Out of the Shadows

Hey everyone. As you can probably tell, my name is StealthySkeptic. I chose that name because, even though I came out as an atheist to my parents about two years ago (who were definitely not upset despite raising me as Roman Catholic) I have to walk on eggshells around religious topics around my parents, friends, and especially girlfriend, and frustration is often inescapable. And so I watch and hopefully will get a chance to snipe at the stupidity of religious extremists from the shadows, really let em have it, you know? All while meeting some pretty cool people.

Again, this is still so very weird to me that being an atheist is something you have to 'come out' about.
