Anyway, in regards to Dotard's initial point, I agree, to an extent. A stripper objectifies herself. A prostitute, swimsuit model, pornstar, etc., objectifies herself. A child in a beauty pageant does not. My point is that if you have it and flaunt it, you are objectifying yourself. I have no objections to this. If you are ten and your crazy mom makes you do it, crazy mom is objectifying her child. I know, slightly off the original point, but I thought it pertinent to point out that not all people who participate are capable of making the choice for themself.
I'm going to ignore the rest of this thread because I have had this argument before and I never walk away comfortable. I will say this, though, men that think that woman can justifiably be raped because of their clothing are the reason why I dress the way I do.
