You've got to own it.
You can't half ass saying something awesome then backtrack. Go the whole hog and don't give a fuck. Do it often enough and people respect you for it.

Its been a while since I've studied it and everything is a little mixed up in my head. However, I think that continued exposure to certain hormones/brain chemicals gives a sort of resistance to it. If you have been reducing the amount of T and now you are getting more of that your resistance may be low and therefore having a greater effect.

I think its entirely possible. You can have similar things from physical situations so it would make sense that it can work that way.
