I like when my thought process follows current speculation with out knowing. That I wonder if we examine the teeth and jaw structure we might find signs of possible venomous bite or perhaps something to signal of a possible infectous bite.
I wondered that one too. But the report stated finding a T Rex tooth lodged between two tail vertabrae on a Duck Bill dinosaur fossil, and that bone was growing around it, which indicates that the Duck Bill survived a T Rex bite and was healing. Some Triceratop fossils which were found also showed the same thing. I would have to guess that T Rex didn't have a venemous bite, just a big bite, similar to a Great White. T Rex also had a large chest cavity which indicates that it was active and that it could follow prey for long distances. How it actually hunted is anyone's guess. I always thought of T Rex being an ambush hunter that would spring upon its prey from hiding and take a big bite out it. T Rex would then follow its prey until it bled to death and fell over. Similar to the way a Great White Shark would do to its prey.
