Anti-social PC gamers.

So when most people sit down and watch TV, a movie, read a book, sit on facebook or just browse the internet, I start up a video game and chat with some people as I do it. I've done it since I was like 12 years old. That said the game to me is only part of the fun, the other being playing alongside people and having a laugh.

It seems impossible to find any PC gaming groups that are actually active. I'm in 3 BF4 teams 2 with over 100 players and yet there are only 3-4 players online each evening. Even if anyone else is on they play alone. A couple months back I played with an ARMA 3 group for a couple of weeks until I found they spend about 1 hour a week actually playing and the rest of the time discussing what they might play.

I tried a couple of 'gaming social teams' which boast hundreds of active gamer's turns out hundreds means 10 guys split across 5 games all not willing to even say 'hello'. Guild Wars 2 was the same way for me, you have the choice of a big 'social' group that has 2-3 people on teamspeak who can't wait to ignore you or 'noob friendly' ones that are a cluster fuck only a small army of confused hopeless people can manage.

The best player interaction I've had since coming onto PC is 1 game of ARMA 3 where I teamed up with a dutch guy who spoke almost no English and a northern bloke who was very very drunk.

Its frustrating, I prefer PC as a platform but everyone is so fucking anti social. If I bought an Xbox one I could fill a friend list within 1 week just from the people I bump into in game.

TL;DR PC gamers are assholes. Why is there nobody fun who plays more than once in a blue moon.
