Obviously we (atheists) are vastly outnumbered by the religious God fearing community. However the atheist community is growing slowly but surely. I think we are a long way off from having the numbers to make any serious influence in the world. Atheists numbers are just beginning to scratch the surface of the old ways. I like to think that we atheists of today are the pioneers of a new world and society. That being said I would like to close this with a quote that I love: "At every crossway on the road that leads to the future, each progressive spirit is opposed by a thousand men appointed to guard the past".
