The thing about being an atheist is that we're often all too aware of just how many different variations of christianity there are, and that none of them have a particular edge in terms of evidence. Knowing that, it's not really our place to define christianity; to me, anyone who wants the label can take it.
That's why these No True Christian arguments are so frustrating to me. It's like, oh, you think this person isn't a real christian because he doesn't follow X or Y commandment that you do? Well, where exactly is the evidence that makes your permutation of christianity superior to his?
