The other day I was at a bagel shop frequented by the local cops (it's across the street from the police station) and I saw a friends' dad who is a sheriff. I went over to say hi and I asked him how his family was and what his daughter (with whom I was great friends) was up to these days until my order was finished and as I left I was snickering to myself because I could tell he had no idea who I was... :p
I'm pretty sure that as soon as I was out the door the 5 other cops with him were like, "Do you know her from somewhere?"
