The trouble with delusional beliefs is that they inform peoples actions.
On many threads on this site you can find examples of this leading to stupid and dangerous things being done because of belief.
These delusions also make people think they can enforce things on others. I'm thinking mainly of Iran and Saudi Arabia but I'm sure it happens in the USA too.
In Summary:
If peoples beliefs didnt have wider implications then I wouldnt have as much as of a problem with it as I do.
