It happen time by time to most of us.
Nothing really strange about it.
I've had experiences which I've been told were flashbacks to past lives and the Beaumaris experience was nothing like that. Here's a picture of the castle with the tree. It would be very easy for my unconscious to imagine what it would be like standing under it looking at the castle. As for those so called flashbacks I had, there's no proof that they really were of past lives.

What modern intelligence say related to this point is totally irrelevant to me.
I did a google search for Ananda Marga and psychology and found this on the Ananda Marga website.
Biopsychology
Quote:"The human body is a biological machine." The mind controls this body-machine through its direct connection and interaction with the glands via the hormones and nerves. This relationship is part of the science of Biopsychology.
What Is Biopsychology? - an article on About Coms' Psychology section.
Quote:Biopsychology is a branch of psychology that analyzes how the brain and neurotransmitters influence our behaviors, thoughts and feelings. This field can be thought of as a combination of basic psychology and neuroscience.
From that article about Intuitional Science where the writer is explaining the spiritual philosophy of yoga.
Quote:“Intuition” is a mental process that is not intellectual; it is beyond the intellect, a more subtle form of cognition.
Meditation is intuitional in that it is a psycho-spiritual process in which the totality of one’s psychic identity is associated intuitionally with infinite consciousness.
Cognition is a term from psychology. Psycho-spiritual is a term from Transpersonal Psychology.
From the Who We Are page of that website.
Quote:ABOUT ANANDA MARGA: Innovative thinker P.R. Sarkar, founder of the Ananda Marga movement, brings the ancient scientific practice of yoga and meditation to the modern world.
Going by all that, yoga has two aspects -
1) The physical - meditation techniques and diet affect the brain and body. (Biopsychology)
2) The spiritual. (Psycho-spiritual/Transpersonal psychology)
Now do you see what I mean about the spiritual being classed as psychology in the modern world?

You grow your kid in the best way but as soon as they start growing up they may not listen at you anymore.
They may do things that you really dislike but what can you do?
Sooner or later as they will have banged their head on a brick wall so many times they will learn the lesson.
That is the only way to go Ape.
So what lessons are animals in laboratories and factory farms supposed to learn?

As your consciousness realize that you exist in his mind and you are Him then the show end for you but if you wish to keep thinking that you are separate from everything else then the show continue and continue as long as you keep on thinking in this way.
Tell that to animals suffering misery in factory farms and laboratories. I'm sure they'll appreciate being told that all their pain comes from their thinking they are separate from God.

Tell that to animals suffering in factory farms and laboratories. I'm sure they'll be a lot happier if they know all their pain is just an illusion.
What you said in Post #829.
Quote:Suppose you are God.
You got everything but you are alone so you want to create something that take away this emptiness.
Your mind create a space in which the action take place and you fill with the element that allow life like air, light, water and the matter.
Here the action begin.
This strikes me as humans projecting human qualities onto God. "God was feeling empty because I'd feel empty if I was the only thing that existed."
I much prefer the idea of Brahman being the ultimate reality which cannot be understood or defined by the intellect.
