So as long as a woman never demands equality, her husband is to treat her as equal but the moment she asks to be treated equal, in church for instance, then he shall rule over you comes into play.
And you see women putting up with that do you?

A little bit of commentary
A lot of reading
I'll comment specifically on the arguers failure to distinguish 'worth' from 'role'. I am in a subordinate position at work. Does that mean I'm less of a 'human' or am somehow not 'inherently equal' to my boss? If a policeman asks you to step out of your car, do you yell back at him "Stop treating me like a sub-human, you're misogynistic, I demand equal rights!" Certainly the arguer uses this line of reasoning only to the Biblical text while ignoring other examples in everyday life where 'roles' are accepted, and without resorting to such objection.
Are the women and men you work with paid the same for equal work?
Most women are at about 70% of what men make.
Does that make them inferior to men?
Yes it does to those who maintain that standard. Physically and mentally.

Must one have a family to be considered a "real man"?
No. But he will recognize that the family is a man's first responsibility and that children are our collective future and women are more important to them than men.
