Here’s the problem. Gods and Demons, Magic and Miracles, Dragons and Unicorns, Vampires and Werewolves… none of these things are real. Anyone that claims to have had direct contact with any of these things is, almost certainly, delusional. Either that or lying.
All religions and some entire nations have been built upon these delusions (and/or lies). The result has never been pretty. Fortunately, I suspect we are heading to a new age, finally leaving behind the naïve ‘Age of Superstition’. Too bad I won’t be here to see it.
In order for atheists to take anything out of some dusty old fiction book seriously, you would need to first prove that God/Allah is real. Without that, there is absolutely no reason to consider the Qur'an or the bible(s) to be anything but fiction.
