Mass shootings are obviously not enough. I hear ya.

~25% of the adult population of the UK are binge drinkers. Do you think they need to ban alcohol across the pond? Deaths are deaths, right?

Binge drinking =/= death, and it's more about endangering other people. You should be allowed to do whatever you want with your own body, but putting others in danger because of one's irresponsibility is where the line is drawn.
