It's one thing to call them Drippy and Trippy but this statement is below the belt.

When people get desperate, they tend to swing at what would cause them the most pain.

It's not something either of us would care to experience again, but I think we are both stronger for facing such a challenge and coming out the otherside.

Money knows no racial boundaries. Their are rules in the making and keeping of money. If one follows said rule he will accumulate a mass of it. If one does not... Money will not suffer a fool for very long, red, yellow, black or white.

We are usually pretty lenient about insulting language, particularly with members who have shown that they are capable of reasonable discourse.

However, there have been insults thrown about in this thread that go beyond what we're willing to overlook, in particular extremely vulgar insults aimed at one member's spouse (who also happens to be an inactive member).

Let raise the bar a bit, shall we?

What's fucked up about articles and associated sentiment like that found in the OP is that the outrage is tragically misplaced. Instead of citing another example of apparent lethal police abuse in order to add momentum to growing disatisfaction with an out of control police state, some simply cry about a difference in the extent of media coverage. I guarantee if the Utah shooting resulted in protests of thousands instead of a few dozen the media would have an equally large presence.

The protesters did not show up till a few days later (they were bussed in from different parts of the country.)

I simply think most people assumed in the black officer shooting case that he was simply justified... That somehow a black cop shooting a whiteish suspect has the magical power of proper discernment that a white cop shooting a guy who beat the snot out of him does not have...

That and white people do not have self appointed 'white social leaders' who look to cash in on the death of some scumbag who was killed because he was a danger to an arresting officer or other people.
