It's my opinion that it's partly cultural and religious. It's quite common human males to want to have sex with several women, certain religions and cultures prevent this very VERY strong natural need to have sex and so I believe the brain reacts by creating perversions.
Just the other day I was watching a documentary called the hidden shame of pakistan, and it was about the number of boys in pakistan being forced to have sex and it seemed to be disturbingly common in parts of pakistan.
One man who was interviewed said something along the lines of he couldn't be seen in public walking with, and flirting with women, it would be disgusting and shameful, but it's easy to walk around with young boys and to not be looked down on.
It's just a thought of mine, like a vague theory. I think religion could possibly cause perversions involving rape and pedophilia by unnaturally suppressing normal sexual behavior.
It's pretty funny because the night before I watched the documentary about pakistan and the constant raping of underage boys I watched a documentary made by Muslims as they went around nightclubs in birmingham.
As they went around they described how non muslims behaved like pigs, dancing with each other having lots of sex and drinking.
I'm not saying drinking and one night stands make a good society but it seems like a better option to me than people suppressing their desires so badly they feel that raping a boy is better than being seen with women in public.
