Scottish independance?

So, should this Scotland decide to resume its independent existence, what form would it take?

Similar to what it is now, except Scotland has control over itself instead of the partial control we currently have. Our government has been set up for years and we have always had our own laws.

Would it remain part of the commonwealth? Would it continue to recognize the monarch as head of state or would it become a republic?

Yes to the first 2. Although why we would continue to have an unelected head of state is beyond me.

Would it keep the pound, adopt the euro or set up its own currency?

Most likely we will end up with a deal to continue to use the pound temporarily untill our own currency (Australia, Ireland and others kept it before starting their own currency). I doubt we'd use the euro since noone here seems to want it.

Would it join the EU? Would it be part of NATO?

Yes we have been told there is no reason why we couldnt, (the media trys to use this as a fear tactic)

Would it evict the British nuclear arsenal which currently is stationed exclusively in Scotland?

I sure fucking hope so, its only a few miles away from me and none of us want it there.

Would it take a separate seat in the UN? Would Britain retain a permanent seat in the UNSC?

This i don't know but it really wouldn't surprise me if we ended up with defence pacts with the Rest of the Uk.
