There are probably Scientologists who believe Xenu is still trapped in his mountain prison, with a gate powered by an Immortal Battery.

Which just goes to show, large swaths of people will believe the most outlandish bullshit, hence we have virgin births, zombie resurrection and immaterial sky wizards being acceptable. None of which is any less outlandish than the imprisonment of poor, lonely Xenu. Sad
