Start a new thread. write something wait a few mins. then navigate away, the click the back button, everything is saved.

I just tried it here on this very post, and it wipes my text everytime.

I put alot of work in to some of my larger posts. Recently I invested 6 hours looking up various concerns, and went to post and came back with an error screen. which looses everything This has happened many times. Aside from opening someother program writing it all in one pace and then transfering it here, is their any way to just save the info written here?

If I am working on a particularly involved response, I copy the hypertext from the reply box and paste it into a Word document. Then, when I'm done I copy the completed text into a new reply.

Unfortunatly I write in a networked company based system I cant change anything, with out making a 1/2 dozen people really angry. all folders and programs are linked and open for all to stumble across. While everyone knows what i do, they do not need to know when and how much time I put in here. (I like to look like I'm doing company stuff when I am at my desk.) If I open a word doc or note pad, any nosey nelly can plainly see what I am doing real time.

At least this way they would have to spend time surfing this website, and then I can yell at them to get back to work.
