I could buy that. The young pastor at the church I used to attend would occasionally talk about how doubts are a normal thing. That always struck me like a salesperson talking about buyer's remorse. The idea is when the feelings of doubt creep in, you think "oh, that's normal" instead of "oh, this doesn't make sense".
