Abrahamic religions suck.
Actually quite different, Judaism never really spread and Christianity was spread with in the roman empire, mostly withput violence for the first 300 years
Yep, pretty much true. The violent conquests that are recorded in the history of Judaism are in fact invented (or that is that they are just legends and not real events). Why would god promise his people such a meagre and minute inheritance as the "promised land"? The only logical conclusion based on archaeology is that Israel already occupied that land and the religious texts served as a justification for them to defend it and call it their own.

Christianity certainly did not spread through violent conquests either. That isn't to say there wasn't any violence, just that it wasn't the catalyst of the spread of Christianity. The spread of Islam on the other hand can only be explained by Jihadist violence, and their violent control of the Mediterranean Sea.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
