Here are the "requirements" to be a West Virginia State Trooper

Between 21 and 40 years old
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license for no fewer than two years prior to applying for the West Virginia State Trooper job

In case anyone thinks these fuckers are the 'best and the brightest.'

I would be okay with that IF and only if their training involves an ethics training course and a round of basic law knowledge along with a discussion of recent hotspot events (like Ferguson) and exactly why those were problems. It just seems like this type of training takes a back seat (or is nonexistent) in favor of learning how to use the twelves pockets of their giant utility belt of "fuck up the suspect".
