If I did not want to "be accountable to anyone or anything" god would be the least of my worries, seeing as he is incapable of holding me accountable for anything. Even most of the theists tend to warn us that god is hiding now and will only call us to account at some future time. If you're going to mischaracterize people, at least try to make it somewhat plausible or sensible.
