Quote:Just as all "Christians" say that Jesus Christ is their lord and savior who died on the cross for their sins etc. etc. etc. ......(They have their core as well)...they are different in wether jesus is god or he is son of god and also differ in what that means and they are different in parts of the bible some say its from the bible and other says its not and again some say if you believe only you will go to gods heaven and others say you must believe and do good deeds
And trust me, when I say that the separation of different branches of Christianity have their own little battles of political and historical issues, just as Muslims.....
the difference in islam has nothing to do with the beliefs at all the differences is about the companions of muhammed(pbuh) which is mainly history and made up stories about religious men.which most muslim oppose this as it can lead to the same things happened in other religions
Quote:For a second I thought your were talking about the Qur'an and how people view and react on the verses from it....you are wrong neither muslims nor christians did that you can say that about jews and in this issue you cant genaralize things you must see wether the rules in the book surve anyone personal intentions or benefit him or in the contorary make him not able to do bad things or use rules for his own benefit
Wait for it.................................Just as Christians do............................
You can gift wrap your belief all you like, but the bottom line still stands. Muslims and Christians have raped their own book in terms of taking it apart to fit their own agendas....Whether historically, politically, and/or personally.....Hence again, we have separations within each dark age belief...
