None of these "experiences" ever happen in a lab. Not even the volume of a common claim makes evidence.
I personally had as a kid an "outer body" "experience" and saw two dead relatives and my current mom in as "ghosts". I know now that my own mental state, credulity and fear lead me to conflate my own body chemistry and dream state to "feel real".
It still amounts to "If you want to believe something badly enough you will".
