I always have a special place in my heart for TNG because it was the first ST I saw. I don't hate any of the series, including Enterprise, which would have been decent if there hadn't been any expectations. I hold a serious grudge against STX+XI.

I just don't understand the logic behind TV and Film studios. Why do they on the one hand let people like Rick Berman run such a lacklustre affair when there are so many gifted writers and producers around, and on the other handmicromanage and focus-group things to death. Seems paradoxical to me
