In the beginning, the Quran was telling the disbelievers, peace, and to each their own religion. It was only after being oppressed, did the Quran, say permission to fight has been given you to because of being oppressed and talked about being kicked out of their homes.
But it stated if the other side incline to peace, to incline to it as well.
Hey this is cool!
Hopefully a large group of people sharing the quality of having a dark heart doesn't come along and organize under this flag, and use it to do evil. Otherwise, they'll just exist as single separate evil anomalies...
Quote: Now a person with a dark heart can twist it and say we must fight all people in the west for the foreign policies. But most Muslims say this not an accurate representation of the spirit of these verses.
...well shit.
Quote:Take for example the verse, not to kill a soul except for killing another soul or mischief in the land.
Does this allow the killing of innocents? So why take some verses literally while ignoring others.
You tell me. I don't take any of it at all.
Quote:A holistic approach is needed and also the Quran says "none shall touch it but the pure". So it's own words, it needs a pure heart to understand the Quran. This is because a dark twisted heart can always twist verses and see things in a wrong way and not want to learn wisdom.
Now, if we could just get rid of human variation. Good luck with that.
People use all sorts of excuses to justify evil. In this case, this ideology we are seeing from ISIS is baseless from Quran but they carry the banner as if they are representing the Quran. The Quran teaches opposite to what they teach.
We've seen in history there were even sects that said Ali was God on earth even though this contradicts the theology of Quran clearly.
