Your plight reminds me of something I heard a long time ago. There are two ways to tell if a man is rich or not.
1. Count up the things he has.
2. Count up the things he wants.
All you got to do is stop wanting things and you will be rich. I know that's easier said than done....but it can be done. Its a mindset, and perhaps knowing where you stand income wise in the world might give you the perspective to achieve that mindset.
I'm already well aware of where I stand income wise. I already understand that I really do have it pretty good.
Do you feel guilty then about wanting more? It seems to me that your envy is causing you some discomfort. How would you classify that discomfort(if it exists).
