OT was a Jew law and does not apply to Christ believers anymore. That does not mean we can use the good things from it and discard the rest. I believe in the 10 commandments - does not mean I have to follow the OT.
READ 1 Timothy 2 - Which is a New Testament Book - so YOU therefore cannot claim your old testament bias against it
In the writing - it is the christ speaking - saying that he will NOT allow a woman to have any authority over a man - they should be SILENT and submissive to men - WHY? - because of "EVE's" sin .
Since it is without question that there was NO Adam and Eve - that is a fairy tale - the idea that the christ would use that as a reason to denigrate women to a lower status does not make sense - but then that is YOUR religion - not one I believe
DO you accept this as your religion and do you therefore treat women in the manner prescribed - and force woman to obey that part of the bible.
If not - then YOU are again making your religion a CAFETERIA _ choosing what to believe - and what not to believe.
Your claim that YOU accept the 10 commandments is NOT true. Remember - they are JEWISH laws - and the commandment is "Remember to keep Holy the Sabbath" - it is not - go to church on Sunday. The Sabbath day - established in the Jewish Calendar that existed at the time of the christ - and is NOT questioned in the bible by the christ - and that Calendar STILL exists today - establishes the Sabbath as being Saturday - but then YOU will somehow justify changing the day - even though it is NOT at ALL inquestion in realty.
