God is not misleading anyone except those who want to believe He is. Christ has already given us signs to look for and He also told us that only the Father knows the day and hour. Therefore if I were to hear about the end of the world being on a certain day I would know to ignore it. The Bible may seem to be full of contradictions to you but like I've said before superstarr you know next to nothing about the scriptures.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
