does death scare you and why?

I don't really fear death. I just don't really think about it. I'd hate to die painfully, or nearly die and come back severely crippled, but then who wouldn't. I've tried to kill myself three times and none of those times was afraid of dying. Though I'm uncertain what happens after death, I guess I'll find out when I get there. (Or not.)

This for me too, even down to trying to kill myself three times.

Damn. Why do so many likable, smart, witty -even admirable- people step over the edge? Please don't make it four.
