Name one point when humanity as societies ever shared with the less fortunate. Not talking about individuals, but societies. The poor and needy were always trampled into the dust by the ones calling the shots.
I believe capitalism has brought about an imbalance where the ability to amass wealth is far in excess of anything possible before it. Half the worlds population, 3 1/2 billion people have as much money as the top 85 richest people, and the owners of WalMart have more wealth than 42% of Americans.

Those figures are incredible. The richest in society (the top 1%) have 100 times more wealth than the millionaires in the top 10%. Poverty could be eradicated overnight if capitalism were dismantled. Instead we're manipulated with fear and mass indoctrination to support it.
