1. I'd like to thank God for giving me the patience to work hard and get through the stressful times ate university/med school, a busy internship and residency and giving me the skills I have (Wait a minute - sorry - that should be DAD, not God, for being a strong shoulder to vent my frustrations out on, for encouraging me, and for helping pay my tuition).
2. Family and friends for being supportive in the same way as Dad was/IS (except for helping to pay my fees/tuition. Cheap bastards!).
3. Living in a country where I can do the above and get equal treatment, for the most part, with my male colleagues.
