You can well say that Helen was a beautiful and peaceful person in the Troy context, but she caused everyone around her to be unpeaceful and she caused a major war also. So when it comes to peace in the world you don't want to find a peaceful book, you want to find the source of unrest and destroy it! That does not apply to Helen.
And the truth is that the source of unrest occurs around Islamic countries. It may be a coincidence of course, maybe the unrest is political and they use Islam to propagate it, but we can't be sure.
Nope. "It's political not religious"is a dodge. You just admitted the religion is used by politics which means it takes people to believe in that religion in order to be lead by the nose by politics.
ALL holy books are pointed at by people who read it to claim compassion, and those same books are used by others to justify cruelty to others. The same books the same exact words with different conclusions.
Just like a gun can be used to protect or cause harm it is still a gun. The problem with holy books is that they are not just guns, but convoluted guns that humans fight over how to use them.
