Christian, really, you should learn about what something is before you argue against it.
Nothing in the entire library of knowledge about evolution would point to an idea that a species or organism must evolve into some new, wildly different organism over time.
Bacteria have shown to evolve new abilities that weren't there before. The very fact that there are so many different species of bacteria is proof of evolution. Bacteria are extremely good at what they do. They are remarkable in their ability to adapt to new environments and metabolize different substances. If an organism is highly adaptable and suited to many different environments, you wouldn't expect it to speciate, would you? If it is doing well in it's environment, wouldn't there be more deleterious mutations?
