Um no, whatever "liberal" ideas or "progressive" ideas you can find in the bible, are simply our species reflection of our compassionate nature. Those acts are depicted throughout our species history and can be found in other religions as well.
Our morality is not in holy books, it is in our evolution. Our ability to be cruel or compassionate is in us.
You point to that book in retrofit, not because it invented human morality. There are other parts of that same bible that even today, are used to justify bigotry and homophobia.
Ramadan teaches Muslims to know their blessings and have sympathy for others with less. It is no different a motif than Jesus feeding the multitudes. It does not prove the existence of either god. It only shows that humans make up religions because they do not understand their own capability of cruelty or compassion are in them.
"To your mind" only means you are reaching back. It does not mean those who wrote that book had any modern knowledge.
