But how can we use the scriptures when there just stories, and there is no proof of a god inspiring them to be written.

That's dishonest dickish behavior. Both of you know what verses we refer to, but you are hoping we waste our time and effort hunting them up.

Since you know the verses that are being referred to, cough them up and tell us your Stretch Armstrong reason why the verses don't say what they say. It's called discussion, and if you don't want to engage the actual ideas of the post, then quit being rude posturing asses about it. Drich's strategy of dragging the discussion into an alleyway by dishonestly feigning ignorance is disgusting. If we demanded a definition and citation of every thing you two said about the bible even though we didn't have any question about it, we too would be trying to exhaust and drag you two down. We don't do that. So unless you two really have no idea what we're referring to, golden rule us, OK??
