There is NOTHING wrong with the statements and claims made - they are accurate - -and they represent what the bible actually says
We do not need YOUR interpretation - since YOUR personal feelings and interpretations do not represent anything other than another human who has no more validity. That you are one of the deluded believers makes your interpretation even more questionable. When you can get someone from ANOTHER religion - who does not believe in yours - to agree with your interpretation - post that persons. YOU are not an uninterested bystander.
Over the years - religions - including xtianity - have done incredibly horrific things - based on claims from the bible that later turned out to be false. I have actually seen the torture chambers in cathedrals in Europe where they carried out such crimes. And the bible has been used as a basis to support Slavery (Where it is allowed in both the NT and the OT) - - it actually has instructions on how to PROPERLY selll your daughter into slavery - and includes instruction supposedly from a "christ" on how slaves should obey their masters.
The earth is NOT a circle (a circle is a two dimensional object)
The earth is Not 6000 years old - as the time table of the bible claims
THere never was a flood during the last 6000 years that covered the entire earth with water - it did not happen.
ANd there is NO evidence that the "christ" was anything more than a fictional character made up by a few unhappy jews to teach a new religion. THere is not a single piece of evidence from the supposed time of the christ - that even mentions his name (Which cannot be Jesus either). And this was the GOLDEN Age of ROME - that had LOTS of scribes and historians - from which we have millions of documents and inscriptions - including the results of turtle races in Jerusalem - and none who could have a real witness. Amazing that turtles got better press.
And people have killed and been killed - for religion and the support of the thousands of claimed gods - for no other apparent reason. And it is still happening.
In Law - when you KNOW something horrific is being planned - whether you eventually participate or not in it - you are abetting the event if you do not report it to authorities so they can stop it. This is called DEPRAVED INDIFFERENCE - and it was used against Terry McNichols in the Oklahoma Bombing case - when he did not report the upcoming bombing even though he counted himself out when it finally came to be - and he was arrested - and convicted - and executed.
IF a god is all knowing - and does exist - it deserves no better treatment.
Any ALL - knowing god would have to be PURE evil to allow some of the events to happen -so - you worship a god that does nothing but allow evil to dominate.
Thankfully - as people get educated - they reject religion as being nonsense - which it IS. And religion - is waning in the educated world - and only is spreading in the thrid world countries - where Ctian religions actually add Voodoo to their beliefs to get the local to join. One problem though - is that these areas of the world cannot support the religions - so they are running out of money - closing churches and schools - and going the way of Vampires - and other fictional nonsense. ANd that is how it should be.
