And really, sports can be viewed as a way to appreciate the human form, as well as our evolutionary path. Just as much, if not more, as an artistic study. Throwing a football? A baseball? You don't see any other apes throwing anything at 100mph (a turd goes, what? 25mph tops?) Where else in this age can we see, and really appreciate the human limits being pushed that far?
Long distance running? That's a direct link to our past; to almost the exact moment that we gained an edge in this fight: sweating. Releasing heat while producing heat. The runningest species, they call us (this part may not be true)
I think studying and appreciating the human form, in action no less, is a worthwhile endeavor. There's plenty of benefits to it. You could probably come up with a long list yourself. Sports!

I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue
