Here in Democratic WNY we have paid for 2 stadiums and got one.
Yeah, the one that is currently filled with several thousand tons of snow.
The country, state and county are basically broke, running on borrowing.
And the talk here is how we need a new one.

I think the OP has a partial point. Personally team sports like rugby and football bore the fuck out of me. The only sport I actively watch is boxing.
