In the middle ages christians were forbidden to run banks by their religion, so the jews being the only other people around got to run the banks.
They got rich, Christians got jealous and remembered the jews killed jesus (forgetting that he was one) and the shit got real.
500 years later the Jews are still highly successful....and not just in banking. Suppose you are tasked with predicting which one of two kids will do better in life....all you know is one kid is Jewish and the other is not.
I bet on the Jewish kid and it is not even close.
The Jews have their shit together IMO.
