Uh huh. Keep on moving those goal posts after you've been made to look like a disingenuous fool. I don't remember anyone having a huge issue with the underlying reasons of the 1991 conflict. The 2003 conflict was a completely different story.
To say they were the same conflict? That's just desperation on your part.
War is a series of related conflicts or battles. This is a series of related conflicts which began with Iraq's invasion of Kuwait. It is the modern equivalent to the Hundred Years War and like the Hundred Years War it can be divided up into phases or stages. The 2003 phase, the 1991 phase, and the quasi war in between are all part of the same war because the conflicts are all related. Its been going on for 23 years now and don't be surprised if it is still going on when you retire.
What is desperation is the lefts re-write of history just so they can demonize Bush. They talk about the 2003 conflict completely out of the larger context to which it belongs. Bush inherited the Iraqi problem from Clinton(who got it from Old man Bush). Now you can be critical of how he went about trying to solve it....you can even argue that he made the problem worse.....but it is ludicrous to think he created this problem with is lies and deceit when the democrats were saying the exact same thing he was saying.
