Guess that means that folks will have to be willing to work for 3k less a year - to remain competitive and such. What's the problem?

The problem is Obama's policies have lead to an unintended consequence of giving employers a huge incentive to hire illegal(but now lawfully present) aliens over American citizens.

I like an open boarder. Let everyone who wants to come to this country to work be able to come to this country. What I don't like is when the government skews the labor market by making people who come to this country illegally more desirable employees than people native born or naturalized.

Obama and the democrats are idiots in my opinion.
